FIRE UPON The ALTAR!

Leviticus chapter 6 verses 12 and 13:

And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings. The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.

The altar is a place of worship, surrender, consecration, sacrifice, and blessing.

1. The fire upon the altar is to burn always.
2. The fire upon the altar is to be fueled every day.
3. The fire upon the altar is to consume any thing having to do with sin.
4. The fire upon the altar is to blaze the proof of our peace between God and man.
5. The fire upon the altar is the flame of our continuing, unbroken fellowship with God!
