Flesh And Blood!

Introduction: Flesh and blood speaks of our life here and now; and, is only a vehicle which is used to prepare us for that which is to come.

Flesh and blood is limited in knowledge and revelation, Matthew chapter 16 verse 17:

And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

Flesh and blood is left in order that we might enjoy our glorified body for ever in heaven, First Corinthians chapter 15 verse 50:

Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of god; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Flesh and blood is likely to fail us when it comes to spiritual matters, Galatians chapter 1 verse 16:

To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood.

Flesh and blood is not the lethal war that we should be the most concerned about, Ephesians chapter 6 verse 12:

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Flesh and blood is the legal process that was used by Jesus to defeat Satan and to deliver us from the power of death, Hebrews chapter 2 verses 14 and 15:

Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; and deliver them, who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

Conclusion: Romans chapter 6 verse 5:

For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection.
