God Is More Than Reasonable!
Intorduction: Man has always desired, at some level, to reason with God. Job 13: 3: Surely I would speak to the Almighty, and I desire to reason with god.
God invites us to show our reasons before him, Isaiah 41:21:
Produce your cause, saith the LORD; bring forth your strong reasons, saith the King of Jacob.
God encourages us to submit to his reasoning with us, Isaiah 1:18:
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
God exhorts us to share his reasonableness with others, Acts 24:25:
And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.
Conclusion: Don't be like so many who are like Felix! The putting off of your reasoning session with God today, may result in your accountability appointment with him tomorrow!
