HIS APPEARING AND HIS KINGDOM!

Second Timothy chapter 4 verses 1 and 2:

I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine.

Overview:

The Appearing of Jesus is when he comes to rapture the Church and we meet him in the air. His kingdom is when he comes to the earth the second time to judge and to set up his kingdom to rule the world in righteousness. These two events are separated by the seven year Tribulation period.

Application: In the reality of his appearing and his kingdom, according to the verses above, there are three simple things that we should do:

  1. Preach the word.
  2. Preserve your own heart.
  3. Prepare the people of god.
Closing thought: The world better get ready for the appearing of Jesus and the kingdom of God! The lost must be saved; and, the children of god must be ready!
