Satan Is Defeated!

John chapter 10 verse 10:

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Colossians chapter 2 verse 15:

And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

First Peter chapter 5 verse 8:

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.

First John chapter 3 verse 8:

He that committeth sin is of the devil. for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the son of god was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Revelation chapter 20 verse 10:

And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

  1. Satan attacks God's prized creation.
  2. Jesus comes to destroy Satan's evil work.
  3. Even though Jesus is risen, the devil continues to work unhindered.
  4. The Church will exercise her authority over Satan and his kingdom by realizing the life she has in Jesus.
