The Voices!
Introduction: Scripture says, There are many voices in the world, and none of them are without meaning. But to which of them are we listening? And what group of them are we a part of?
The voices of the plotters, Luke chapter 23 verse 23:
And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he might be crucified: and the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed.
The voices of the prophets, Acts chapter 13 verse 27:
For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.
The voices of the proclaimers, Second Corinthians chapter 11 verse 10:
As the truth of Christ is in me, no man shall stop me of this boasting in the regions of Achaia.
Conclusion: We have nothing in ourselves of which to boast; but, as believers, we sure can brag on Jesus!
