We Can Comfort Each Other

Second Corinthians Chapter 1 Verses 3 and 4:

Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of god.

  1. We must know that real comfort comes from God.
  2. We must be comforted ourselves before we can comfort any one else.
  3. We must all participate in the same comfort, though our experiences will be different.

Closing thought: Those who receive comfort from God, even if it is through another believer, will indeed be comforted and God will be glorified.
