WHAT SHOULD THE CHURCH BE TELLING THE WORLD?
Introduction: The Church has been given the message of warning and of eternal life to share with our needy world today.
Revelation 1:19: Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter.
Application: Our message has a past, present, and future.
The things which thou hast seen:
Jesus died on the cross to forgive your sin,
He arose from the grave to live again;
he went back to heaven so we could win,
And one day soon He's coming again!
The things which are:
We're living in troublous times.
But the Holy Ghost and the gifts of the Spirit are available for those who will get saved and live a sanctified life.
The things which shall be hereafter:
There's coming an awful time on this earth like the world has never seen.
It's called the Great Tribulation and, those who are not ready when Jesus comes for His Church will have to go through it.
Devastation, destruction, and death will dominate during this time.
But the good news is that heaven is a reality and salvation is free!
Conclusion: Tell the world!
